Where Is Ko'olani?

Ko’olani is located on Queen Street in Kaka’ako, near the border of Ala Moana. It is smack dab in the middle of a multitude of shopping and dining options while still being minutes away from the sands of Ala Moana Beach. Ko’olani is what is known as a ‘second-row’ tower, with ocean views only beaten by those towers on Ala Moana Boulevard itself.

Ko’olani is perfectly situated for a wealth of activities both indoor and out. To the west of Ko’olani is the Ward Village Center, with the rest of Kakaako and downtown Honolulu beyond. To the east is the masterpiece of Ala Moana, the Ala Moana Center - the largest open-air shopping mall in the world. Beyond that lies Waikiki, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, and Diamond Head.

About Ko'olani

Ko’olani is a 48-story luxury condo tower in Kakaako that had 370 units upon completion in 2007. It was built with quality in mind, featuring high grade fixtures, furnishings, and equipment throughout. Many units in Ko’olani originally had an ocean view, though the development of new front-row towers may have changed that view since the tower was first developed.

The grand lobby, hallways, and elevators extensively use stone and wood materials, invoking the feeling of a resort when combined with the resident amenity deck.

Ko'olani - Condo Units

Units in Ko’olani come in 2-bed and 3-bed floor plans, plus grand penthouse suites with more. The doors to each unit are positioned far away from each other to create a private feel for residents.

Since the tower was completed in 2007, condos for sale in the secondary market may differ from the original design. Original Ko’olani units featured floor to ceiling glazed glass windows with top portions that slid open. Many of the units feature varying views of the ocean that get better the higher the floor, though that view may be impacted by ongoing development of other front-row towers.
