About 400 Keawe

400 Keawe is a 6-story condominium building that houses 95 units above 10,000 Sq. Ft. of retail space. It was completed by guest developer Castle & Cooke in 2016 and was one of the few low-rise condo projects in Kakaako at the time.

The building was developed on block B in the master-planned Our Kakaako neighborhood, between Keauhou Place to the north and The Collection and SALT to the south. These projects were all completed during Increment I of the master plan.

Developers - Kamehameha Schools and Castle & Cooke Hawaii

Kamehameha Schools was founded by the last direct descendant of King Kamehameha I, established to fulfill their desire to improve the capability and well-being of people of Hawaiian ancestry. Their commercial assets help to fund statewide educational programs that serve more than 47,000 learners. Our Kakaako is being developed as a part of that, comprising nine city blocks in the heart of Kakaako.

Castle & Cooke Hawaii was formed in 1851 as a Hawaii general store. Since 1963, they have shown a proven commitment to investing in Hawaiian communities with over 24,000 homes under their belt. Castle & Cooke Hawaii brought this experience with them in the development of 400 Keawe.
